You may know him as the clever and charming Ned Ashton. You may have known him as equally clever and charming Justin Kiriakis. In 1996, readers of Soap Opera Digest nominated him the Hottest Male Star and readers of Soap Opera Update selected him as the Most Valuable Player on "General Hospital". But however you know him, fans of Kurth & Taylor know Wally Kurth is a talent that transcends the TV screen. Wally catapulted into daytime television fame during his four-year stint on "Days of Our Lives" as Justin Kiriakis. He went on to join the cast of "General Hospital" in 1992, and today still plays the role of the clever and charming Ned Ashton. But while he's at it, he's also pursuing his lifelong musical ambitions. In addition to sharing lead vocals for Kurth & Taylor, Wally has starred on Broadway as the Pirate King in "The Pirates of Penzance" and lent his talents to a wide variety of other productions. And as if acting and music weren't enough, Wally is now in the midst of writing and developing trailers for his original screenplay. With new ambitions and talents to explore every day, Wally may not have a lot of free time, but the time he does have he spends in his San Fernando Valley home with his wife, Debra. |
